Our client in Tampa, FL, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to manage day-to-day accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting. Great opportunity with work/life balance, high visibility with owners and ability to shape the financial decisions.

Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the general ledger, financial statements, month-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare and review accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Assist with budget preparation, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Ensure tax compliance and assist with tax filings.
• Perform account reconciliations and provide ad-hoc financial analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including financial reporting and month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems, Excel, QuickBooks).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
